Tyvaloven 62.5%

Product description

TYVALOVEN 62.5%

Composition

Each 100 g contains:

Tylvalosin (as Tylvalosin Tartrate): 62.5 g

Description

Tylvalosin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis and demonstrates high activity against predominantly gram-positive bacteria, mycoplasma species, and select gram-negative bacteria. It exhibits both bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects, with killing activity dependent on both concentration and duration of exposure. Tylvalosin also achieves considerable intracellular concentrations within phagocytic cells such as macrophages and neutrophils, thereby supporting the innate immune response.

Indications

Indicated for the treatment and metaphylaxis of mycoplasmosis caused by susceptible strains of *Mycoplasma gallisepticum*, *M. synoviae*, other *Mycoplasma* species, and diseases associated with *Clostridium perfringens* and *Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale*.

Benefits

  • Effective against *Mycoplasma gallisepticum*, *M. synoviae*, *Clostridium perfringens*, and ORT
  • Exhibits a low minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and favorable MMC/MIC ratio compared to alternative therapies, ensuring clinical efficacy
  • Reduces and eliminates Egg Apex Abnormalities (EAA) related to MS in commercial layers
  • Offers good palatability, unlike tiamulin, without adversely affecting water intake, feed consumption, or egg production

Dosage

Chickens: Treat with 25 mg tylvalosin/kg body weight/day in drinking water for 3 days. For prevention, give the same dose for 3 days at 1 day old, then repeat for 3 days during risk periods (e.g., vaccine administration at 2–3 weeks).

Withdrawal Period

Meat : 2 days
